The Aleph Course

  • Upside Down 10962 Le Conte Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90024 United States (map)

Upside Down is providing a space for students to talk openly about life’s biggest questions. Includes free coffee, dinner and live music!

Who's invited? UCLA Students with either a religious or non-religious upbringing who are interested in a safe, non-judgmental, pressure-free place to explore their questions about faith and spirituality.

What can I expect? The evening will start with a free meal from one of Westwood's local restaurants, followed by live music by local LA based artists. We then will listen to a short talk on a spiritual topic, grab a coffee, and dive into a small group discussion. In these groups we get to be open and honest about questions, doubts, and fears while making new friends and exploring life's questions.

When does it start? Thursday, April 13th at 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Where do I go? Upside Down, 10962 Le Conte Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

How long does it go on? This is a 6 week course every Thursday evening starting on April 13th. Each evening will be 2 hours. You are free to come once, twice or for the whole duration. This is a non-pressurized environment to explore faith and life's biggest questions so you can come and go as you please however we do recommend attending the full 6 weeks to get the most out of it. At the end of the course, there will be a celebration and stories from guests about their experiences.

Does it cost money? This is a free course where we provide free dinner, drinks, and a welcoming space for students who want to take a break from the norm and come and explore deeper spiritual topics. There is an option to donate for the food expenses but there is no expectation to do so - just come and show up and enjoy!

We look forward to hosting you and your questions and creating connections and community.
